If you are looking for a mining job, you may find it helpful to move to a location where a mining job would be more convenient. Be aware that mining towns are fully aware of the desire of people in a mining job to do this, and property prices in such places can be sky high. Rent may also be inflated due to this as well as basic items such as groceries and many services. The convenience of not needing to take on fly in, fly out work may be enough of a reason for you to move though, but be sure to take high prices into account.
