If you are thinking about taking up a mining job to make some fast money, keep in mind that it isn't the easiest life. Long shifts, flying to remote areas, high costs of entertainment and other luxuries in nearby towns - there are many downsides to working in the mines if you are merely thinking about a basic mining job. Nevertheless, the financial incentives can be extremely good. Take a while to think it over before making a move into working a mining job.
